Custom engine tune on the dyno. Great drivability comes first: smooth idle, clean throttle and easy cold starts. Then we build strong peak horsepower that's safe for your setup, tuned for your fuel and mods and verified under load.
ECU tuning rewrites your engine computer's fuel, ignition and boost tables to match your parts and fuel, then tests the changes under load on a dyno.
Read and solve check-engine lights and drivability issues. We connect your car to diagnostic tools, pinpoint the problem, and explain what we found. Often resolves electrical quirks and sensor faults that prevent proper tuning.
Engine diagnostics means scanning the car's computer for fault codes and live data, then testing sensors and wiring to find the real cause of a problem.
Support for turbo and supercharged builds, plus electrical system tuning. We integrate your modifications with the tune, solve cold-start and surge issues, and make sure everything runs stable on pump fuel or E85.
Boost and electrical work integrates a turbo or supercharger into your engine tune and fixes the wiring, sensor and cold-start issues modified cars often develop.
Custom ECU tuning for customers who cannot visit in person. Inquire via email to discuss your vehicle and tuning needs.
Remote tuning is a custom ECU tune built from data logs you record and send, with revised map files sent back after each round of logs.
Why tune on a dyno instead of on the street?
A dyno lets us hold the engine at a steady load and RPM, repeat the same pull, and log air-fuel ratio, timing and knock every time. That makes it possible to change one thing, see the result, and adjust safely. Street tuning depends on traffic, road grade and weather, so it is harder to repeat a test or push the engine to full load in a controlled way.
Do I need a new tune after adding parts?
Usually, yes. Intake, exhaust, injectors, a bigger turbo or a fuel change all alter how much air and fuel the engine sees. The factory map or an old tune was built for different conditions, so fuel trims and timing can drift off target. A retune brings the map back in line with the hardware and keeps the engine running safely with the new parts.
Does a fault code tell you exactly what is wrong?
Not always. A code points to the circuit or system that reported a problem, not always the part that failed. A lean code, for example, can come from a vacuum leak, a weak fuel pump or a dirty sensor. We read the code, look at live data and test the related parts so the fix targets the actual cause instead of guessing.
Should I fix problems before getting my car tuned?
Yes. A tune is built around how the engine behaves on the dyno, so a misfire, a bad sensor or a wiring fault will skew the results. Tuning around a problem can hide it without fixing it. We scan and check the basics first, so the tune starts from a healthy engine and the numbers you see reflect the real setup.
What does boost control tuning involve?
Boost control sets how much pressure the turbo or supercharger makes and how quickly it builds. On a turbo car that means tuning the wastegate or boost controller targets, then matching fuel and ignition timing to each boost level. The goal is steady, predictable boost without spikes, plus enough fuel and safe timing to protect the engine at full load.
Why does my modified car start poorly when cold?
Cold engines need extra fuel because fuel does not vaporize well in a cold intake. Larger injectors, E85 or an engine swap change how much fuel the engine gets at startup, and the factory cold-start tables may no longer match. Tuning the cranking and warm-up fueling, along with checking temperature sensors and wiring, usually brings back clean cold starts.
How does remote ECU tuning work?
Instead of bringing the car in, you record data logs while driving and send them along with your vehicle details and modification list. The tuner reviews the logs, adjusts the map, and sends a revised file for you to load. You log again, and the process repeats until fueling, timing and boost look right. Email us first to discuss whether your vehicle is a fit.
What should I send when I ask about remote tuning?
Include the year, make, model and engine, a full list of modifications, the fuel you run, and the tuning hardware or software you have, if any. Mention any current check-engine codes or drivability issues. The more complete the picture, the easier it is to tell you whether remote tuning suits your car and what the next step looks like.
